Ok..... I have stated making a few projects using the cattacomb wad and they all suffer from the same problem when plating 5the converted file.... if I die in-game or pause and exit to title.. the game crashes to desk-top, I do not return top the level load screen...? why is this... do I need to d/load the updated wad files to get over this problem or is it something else....?Obviously I dont get this problem when using other wads..... Any help would be appreciated.... thx. Inch. ------------------ I WAS PRESSING THE DARN WALK BUTTON !! IP: Logged |

Inchdix old mateI had this problem with the level I am currently working on using Catacomb .WAD What you need to do is produce a load camera shot and make a text change to cure the problem. Play your level, find a good sexy looking shot and press and hold down F1. Make a note of the numbers on the screen making sure you check for - numbers. Come out of game and open script.txt. Scroll down to catacomb level and at bottom of list you will see the existing load camera numbers. Delete these and carefully replace them with your numbers and save file. If you haven't got it already download the easylife.bat file from our website www.tombraider-customlevels.fsnet.co.uk Put it in your trle root directory and double click it. This will convert you script.txt file into a new script.dat file at the flick of a button. Go back into the level and the problem should be cured, as now when she dies or you exit you should see your sexy screen shot as the progress bar appears. Worked for me. Carry on Creating IP: Logged |

Inch dix old mate, don't worry no one saw your level like that. We always send levels out with english.txt and script.txt along with a copy of easylife to convert and move the files. So when anyone downloaded Return to Alexandria they would get a cool camera shot. Alright, so R to A was in tut1.tom so wouldn't have crashed anyway, but we're nice like that.Col ------------------ www.tombraider-customlevels.fsnet.co.uk IP: Logged |

thanks Mike and Colin..... never had that prob with the tut1 wad but as I am really only just starting the new level i will wait before i change the load screen.... that is untill i have a decent enough room to use for the "pic"..... I think this is the only wad it does it with btw.....Inch ------------------ I WAS PRESSING THE DARN WALK BUTTON !! IP: Logged |
